It’s absolutely fascinating to see how quickly the name “Schmackary’s” spreads by word of mouth via the theatre community. I had been told for months from several actor friends of mine that I have to try these cookies, but I guess I put it off for awhile. I mean, it’s just a cookie, right? (I am now greatly ashamed of this allegation, sorry Schmacks!). Clearly I was simply in denial. Finally after beginning to feel left out of this glorious land of cookies I decided to try this mysterious place that I’ve heard so much about. Let’s just say I walked in to “just try 1” and left with a dozen for friends and coworkers (but mostly me). My favorite is definitely the funfetti, but I love all that I’ve tried. I like that the cookies change with not only the days of the week but the seasons as well. I’m now always the first to recommend when a friend or family member is in the city.

Lastly I absolutely love the ambiance and feel to the store, and the price is perfect. Even us starving artists can afford these cookies 🙂

Schmackary’s your new staff are the sweetest, I’m happy your growing business is more diverse, I love it. Your barista recommended the key lime cookie to go with my lattè. May I say it was everything! She explained it as is summer had a taste, she nailed that lattè every time I come in. Don’t let her go anywhere. Her hospitality is so welcoming. Love her. I look forward to seeing her every morning.

I come in every morning for a almond milk lattè. The old barista left, and was very sceptical about the new barista. But she made my latte perfect. After I enjoyed my almond milk lattè I told her what a perfect lattè she made me. In return she thanked me with a smile. What a sweet girl.

My sister and I were on vacation and we walked in completely by accident–we read about 5 Napkin Burger online and saw Schmackary’s on the way out. It was so good that we came back before our vacation was over! We both loved the Cookies and Cream and Funfetti cookies.

After hearing all the exceptional reviews about these cookies I had to try them on my trip to New York City this past week, and I was completely blown away!! These are BY FAR the best cookies I have ever eaten! I would highly recommend heading over to Schmackary’s if you have any doubts in your mind.
